Listen to your parents… Finally
0 Comments Published by admin May 23rd, 2007 in Consulting, Graduation Advice, Love & RomanceFor your first 15 years you had to listen to them, then you decided to stop. From 16 to 22 you learned things the hard way, disregarding them. It was fun… maybe you stayed out of trouble or maybe you didn’t. Now all of a sudden you are finding that you are not getting so much advise. Truth is, your parents decided to quit beating the drum and figured you can learn about life the hard way. So my advice is… when you are stumbling and unsure of what you want to do with your life, ask your parents if they would sit down with you and discuss the situation. Write plenty of notes. You will likely think it’s all a bunch of nonsense. Look back at your notes a week later and then execute your plan. The truth is, they most likely know what will serve you best and they love you.
